On Monday we learned about triangles. There are many different kinds of triangles. There is equilateral triangles, which means they have all equal sides. There is also Isosceles triangles, which means they have at least two equal sides. Last but not least, there is scalene, which means it has no equal sides. By Carter and Luke S.

Summer of the monkeys
In read aloud we are reading Summer of the Monkeys. It is really good. I really like it. The characters are Jay Berry ( boy)and he's the main character, Daisy ( Jayberry's sister) and Rowdy (Jayberry's dog). Jay Berry was going into the river bottoms and he came across monkeys in the woods. Jayberry and his grandpa are trying to come up with plans to catch the monkeys. First they tried traps. Second, they tried a butterfly net and third he tried to become friends with the monkey. Jayberry is trying to catch the monkeys because they are worth money. The little monkeys are worth 2 dollars and the big monkey is worth 100 dollars !
Quadrilaterals
Ok so you might be wondering , what is a quadrilateral? Well I'll do my best to tell you what a quadrilateral is. They are basically a 4 sided polygon. But it has several different names to it. Like parallelogram, square and more. This chart will help you " process" this. Anyways a polygon is any shape with straight sides and is closed. Just to let you know! So on this chart whichever word is the lowest means it only has one name the rest of them have several names. So a square has a lot of names. This chart is divided into parallelograms & not parallelograms. Well I hope I helped you learn about Quadrilaterals!!! By: Makenna

Geometry
Today we started geometry. We did a project with it . This is how we did it. We cut out shapes and sorted them by a rule we made up like shapes with points and shapes with no points. Then we put a picture on Seesaw and Ms. Mathes showed the pictures to the class. Our class mates had to guess what our rules was. I love geometry because you get to see and look at different shapes.

Now are class has been learning about fraction number lines and where to place them and stuff. Ok guess what you are cutting your peices up in to? Well the answer is fifths! So that's a little about fractions, wait! One more thing did you know that a fraction can be a decimal? Think on it💬
