Makers' Space

We visited the Maker's Space again this week. We played a game with Legos. Who could cover the
board the most with their color? We learned some good game strategies today. 

Salad! Salad! Salad!

UToday we learned all about Nutrients. A lady came and taught us about it. Some people went up to help make the salad. When we finished we got to eat it . IT WAS VERY ...YUMMY a lot of people said, "I WANT More I Want More!" That is how much people liked it. We Learned it is always good to stay healthy and not eat junk food. We Learned about the six nutrients that you need to stay healthy. They are water ,a little bit of fat , vitamins, minerals, and protein . By Julianna, Matthew, and Kenzie

Kindergarten buddies

Today we went to our kindergarten buddies' classroom. We made a buddy book on the iPads. We teamed up with Miss Russo's class. The buddy books are for kindergartners to tell them about us. They asked us questions. The book is for them to read. They asked us our favorite food, favorite color, and favorite place.The teachers came around and helped us. Some kindergarten buddies had to have two buddies. We got to pick out pictures for our books.Some were too big. Some were too little. By Abigail and  Jenna

Maker's Space

Our class got to check out Mill Creek's Maker's Space today. We got to build with Legos. 

Germs

We are creating germs and making them with supplies in the room. We are working very hard and trying to do our best and we're  writing about it.  We are writing about where our germs live and what symptoms they cause like sleepiness and dizziness.  

Dot day

Today was dot day.We made dot art with paint and paper plates.It was really fun.We also took pictures with our iPads.We were taking pictures of dots in the classroom, commons, and hallways  too. Then we made Pic Collages of our dots. So far today has been a great day.We also did a guessing game.We had to guess how many candy dots were in a cup.Abigail and Matthew

Dot Day

Dot day is a day that is about creations.Dot day you do activities with dots. That day is a holiday from the book The Dot. Dot Day is a day to make your mark by being kind to others. Today we are making dot creations . First creation we made was small dots inside big dots.       By Micah and Jacob.
