Writer's Notebooks

Everyone brought in their writer's notebooks today. They did a fabulous job decorating them! We are going to fill them with great writing. 

Kahoot!!

I passed out the iPad's today and we played a place value Kahoot. It was a lot of fun!

Starting Health

We started our health unit today by listing thing we know about diseases. 

The Dot Game

We did another teamwork challenge. Everyone had a dot sticker on their forehead, but they didn't know which color they had. They had to get in groups according to color without talking. They used one of the Mill Creek 3Rs - resourceful - to complete the challenge. 

Saving Fred!

The kids used teamwork to try to save Fred the gummy worm from drowning. They had to put a life vest (a gummy Life Saver) around him, but they were only allowed to touch things with paper clips. They rose to the challenge. 

Play Dough Surprise

We had fun making our favorite things with sparkly play dough on the first day.

Buffy and Pals
