Ms. Meyers

Ms. Meyers has been helping us the past few months. She has taught us a few lessons for math and science.  She is leaving because she is in college. Next year she is going to be a student teacher.  She gave us little book mark.

Summer of The Monkys

We have started a new read aloud book called Summer of The Monkeys. It is about a boy named Jay Barry Lee . He has been trying to catch monkeys because the monkeys are worth money. But he can not catch the monkeys because the leader of the monkeys keeps the little monkeys away from Jay Barry Lee's traps. He has used two plans for trying to catch the monkeys , but the big monkey has destroyed both of the plans. Jay Berry has been attacked by the little monkeys. His mom is going to be mad at him for not being safe with the monkeys because in the first place she didn't want him to go to the bottoms to catch the monkeys. We think that he won't be able to go back to the bottoms. If he is able to go back to the bottoms he will have to go back to his grandpa for more ideas. His grandpa has been giving all of the ideas. All of the plans have been pretty good, but the big monkey has been destroying all of the traps. The monkeys tricked him into drinking sour mash. He got drunk and they took his overalls. He got very sick from the sour mash. He could not walk straight because his vision was messed up.

Candy factory

On April 14, 2015 we went to the Candy Factory. we got into groups and every group pretended they had ten dollars but every dollar was taxed by five cents so we had $9.50 to pretend to shop for candy. At the end we had to put the candy back. Then we went up stairs to see how the candy business started.  Next the was a glass window that we looked through and saw how they make candy.

Puppy Money

We have just started Puppy Money. We get puppy money by doing homework or following the 3Rs (respectful, responsible, resourceful). We need puppy because there is a thing called Farmers Market At the end of the year. We get in partners and you can make or bring anything you want so people can buy it and you will have even more money to buy things. You can bring cookies you can pretty much bring anything you want. When the day comes you set up your stand and every body starts to come and you start to get the money. And at the end of the day we have an auction.

Weather Research

We've done weather in science. We learned about wind and clouds and we made a rain gauge. But I want to tell you that we are doing weather disaster research topics. There are thunderstorms,winterstorms,drought,tornado, hurricane, and lots more.  we have to make a pyrimaid called a Triaramas with facts about the topics I told you about.
