Perfect Pia

Pia came:)!! On Wednesday, Pia, Ms. Mathes's dog came to celebrate movie day! This is the most amazing day of the whole school year! We are all excited about Pia being here. She is the dog that loves people, BUT hates other dogs. Pia LOVES to hop on to Ms. Mathes's chair and sit there pretending to be the teacher!

Farmers Market

On Friday we did.............. Farmers Market!!! We also had the auction which was really, LOUD:)! We had tons of fun during farmers market and learned more about economics. Economics are like a business, or job.

Poetry Share Fair

Yesterday we did a "Share Fair". We memorized 3 poems and said them to the parents and other children. We made the room look like a cafe. We put flowers on the table and also put some food for the parents to eat.(The food was pretzels!)

Monday, June 2^nd

• Poetry Share Fair from 11:45-12:30
• Students will be reading aloud a few of their poems in front of the audience.  This is NOT a come and go event so please try to arrive on time so student performances aren't interrupted and so you don’t miss your child’s reading. 

Tuesday, June 3^rd  

• End of Year assembly in the morning
• Kids will be outdoors, sitting on the grass for 30-60 min.  I suggest you send them prepared with some or all of the following

o   Sunglasses

o   Hats

o   water bottles

o   Towels/blankets to sit on

o   Bug Spray (before getting to school)

o   Sunscreen (before getting to school)

• Lunch @ 11:30, Recess @ 11:50
• Early release at 12:50
•  Report cards come home
