Wednesday math madness!
Every Wednesday we have a multiplication test. It has 100 problems and we have 10:00 minutes. Most people are under 10:00 minutes. There are 11 people on 11 and 12s because they can get 10s done in under 5 minutes. Ms. Mathes has the best score of 1:25. The closest we have got was 2:39. Mathew got that score.

Lunch in the hall
On Friday we had lunch in the hallway because there was a problem with the sewer pipes in the cafeteria. The lunch helpers put an orange piece of paper on the floor so we don't spill anything on the floor. It felt really good because everybody was sitting on the floor not the tables. It was a nice change from the cafeteria. We also had indoor recess that same day. You could go to video, drawing or building.

Holes
We started a book called Holes. It is about a boy named Stanley Yelnats. Who was in the wrong place at the wrong time. Stanley was walking home when a baseball player's shoes landed by Stanley. Stanley picked the shoes up. Then the cops drove by and he got arrested because the baseball player donated the shoes to the homeless and they had been stolen. Stanley had a choice from the judge to go to jail or to Camp Green Lake. He had never been to camp so he chose Camp Green Lake. Stanley blames his no-good-dirty-rotten-pig-stealing great-great-grandfather when something goes wrong.
